I'm Dianna Samuelson and I started Signature Book Arts because when I'm not at work I love to spend time in my home conservation lab. I attended Eastern Michigan University where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
I had the honor to bench-train at the elbow of James W. Craven and worked with him for fourteen years until his retirement. I continue to work in Conservation at the University of Michigan's Bentley Historical Library.
My approach is to sit down with you in my home and together we'll examine your item. I'll want to know your plans for it: does it have sentimental value, collector's value, will you use it often, do you plan to preserve it for future generations? We'll discuss options and in about a week I'll send you a proposal. If you accept it, your item goes into the queue.
Please feel free to give me a call and ask questions. I look forward to hearing from you.
